The book has many examples of how following the Golden Rule in life, as well as in business leads to greater, longer lasting success.The book tells how the treatment of others in the business world directly affects your own personal success. It shows how when you commit to being an ethical leader you build trust and respect with not only the people that work for and with you but also the public. There are many examples of how many people have gone after the all mighty dollar and sacrificed everything for it only to lose it all in the end.After reading the book I learned that many of the most successful people are the ones who act the most ethically. The ones who cut corners and treat others unfairly tend to only have limited or short term success. The book does a good job of showing examples of ethical behavior and what can result from it. There are several stories of how acting ethically has resulted in success for not only the person in charge, but also for the people working around them.I think the book could have gone into better detail when talking about some of the people who act unethically. For the most part it tells the end result and does not tell a lot about what they did to achieve their short-term success. Also, the book did not go into much detail about knowing how others actually want to be treated. Treating others the way you want to be treated may not work in every situation. How do you exactly know what others want from you or your business?I would recommend this book for anyone, not just for someone entering the business world. I believe that a lot can be learned from this book, not only for your approach on conducting business but also on your approach to life. It was insightful and would help guide you to figure out what kind of person, whether in your personal or professional life, you want to be.

Good read and a lot of interesting content, but not much for business ethics. However, hope to use some ideas in a way that can be applied toward business. The book if very tiny with a nice hard cover. I read it in a couple hours while sitting at the beach.

This book really challenges the reader to do a self inspection to see what his priorities really are and if he is looking out for himself or for others. Must read and re-read.

Don Desroches has over 20 years of experience mediating and facilitating in the Financial Services industry, providing him the ability to understand the complexities of each individual’s finances during mediation sessions. Dana Greco and Don Desroches are the co-founders of The Mediation and Family counseling Group (www.mediationandcounselinggroup.com) and of Family Advocates Information and Resources (Fairnys.org) to help families in need due to family court and divorce laws in New York State. They are also the hosts of the radio show “New Beginnings,” which inspired the writing and research for this book. In addition to volunteering time at Fairnys.org, he volunteers at other similar non-profit organizations, Fathers and Families New York, Inc., and Families Civil Liberties union, where he serves as a family advocate.

Dana Greco is an LCSW and Divorce Mediator. She holds a master's degree in clinical social work from Fordham University in New York City and a post master's certificate from the Ackerman Institute for Family and Couples, also in New York City. Dana is in private practice in Manhattan and Long Island, where she also serves as a divorce mediator with her partner, co-author, and co-founder of The Mediation and Family Counseling Group, LLC. Additionally, she provides services as an expert forensic social worker for Family and Supreme Courts in the Greater New York court system. Dana has been a specialist family therapist with New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering, a social worker for the public school system, and has held numerous workshops and forums for families in crisis.

Not what I exspected, not much layman info.!

I was not happy with this book. It tells you what can be done with sheet metal forming, but doesn't give you any idea on really how to do it. Gives you pictures on a work in progress, but not any steps on how they got there. I thought this book was not worth the money.

not what I expected. lacking in information for sheet metal work. a hood scoop would be a better project for this book

Boy these guys sure make it look easy.

this book was very good at explaining what to do in the last couple of pages to two items and the rest of the book only told you what tools to buy and precious little of how to use them very little on tricks of the trade as you would intimate from the cover, probably still worth a read to a complete novice

Excellent and complete as all of the books by Matt Joseph are. It really strikes a balance by not being too advanced for the beginner nor too slow for the more advanced hobbyist. The illustrations are superb and the writing is fun and never takes itself too seriously. Above all, the author really does a great job giving enough information so that the entire process can be understood. I cannot recommend this or any of Joseph's other books highly enough! Now if we could just get him to write a series on Motorcycle restoration........

This book was exactly what I was looking for. Included great tips I had not found in any other book. Matt Joseph's guidance and great photos will help anyone learn or continue to develop their skills in this craft.

About the Author
Billy O'Callaghan was born in Cork in 1974, and is the author of three short story collections: 'In Exile' and 'In Too Deep' (2008 and 2009 respectively, both published by Mercier Press), and 'The Things We Lose, The Things We Leave Behind' (2013, published by New Island Press), the title story of which was honoured with the Irish Book Award for Short Story of the Year.

Over the past decade, more than seventy of his stories have appeared in a wide variety of literary journals and magazines around the world, including: Absinthe: New European Writing, Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, the Bellevue Literary Review, Bliza (Poland), Confrontation, Crannóg, the Fiddlehead (Canada), Hayden's Ferry Review, the Kenyon Review, the Kyoto Journal (Japan), the Linnet's Wings, the London Magazine, the Los Angeles Review, Narrative, Pilvax (Hungary), the Southeast Review, Southword, Verbal Magazine (Northern Ireland), Versal (Holland), and Yuan Yang: a Journal of Hong Kong and International Writing. He has also written for the Irish Examiner, the Evening Echo and the Irish Times.

A recipient of the 2013 Bord Gais Energy Irish Book Award for Short Story of the Year, and a 2010 Arts Council of Ireland Bursary Award for Literature, his stories have won and been shortlisted for numerous other honours, including the George A.
